What a fine day to greet clouds, is it not? Well, allow me to make it more interesting. A few months ago, the hydra decided on a dragon poster to celebrate the end of our first season of The Mythsterhood of Travelling Tales podcast. We’re not yet there, but that’s not going to stop us from making it a month-or-so celebration. The poster was recently completed and I, for one, cannot wait to share it with all our Mythsters!

Welcome to episode 16, and the second episode we’ll be spending exploring the dragons of Africa. The Southern part of Africa, to be precise. Anike’s homeland!
Welcome to our first regular episode of 2O21, in which the plan is to discuss those dragons found in the northern half of the Africa. That turned out a bit ambitious, but more dragons will be discussed in next week’s blog, of course.

Welcome to a very special episode: the first one in which all three of us are recording together. Last week Jaz and Anike had a great podcast featuring the Leviathan of Hebrew mythology. At one point they fell into a nifty rabbit hole comparing the slaying of the Leviathan to the slaying of Tiamat, Vrtra, and Jormungandr.
Hello hello, and welcome to milestone episode 10. Double digits! And this week we’ll be exploring the dragons of the Middle East. Since the Middle East is such a vast and varied region, we’ve decided to split this part of the world into two separate episodes.
We made it to the dragons of Central Asia, even though we suffered a few days’ delay. This time, it is Jaz and Koji behind the microphones, as Anike is feeling a bit under the weather. We hope she feels better soon, but in the mean time, let’s give Koji a warm Mythster welcome for her podcast debut!
